A Few of Our Favorite Tables
A handful of the intimate gatherings we've designed and styled as a Chicago dinner party planner — from milestone birthdays to elevated holiday dinners.
Oktoberfest
Authentic. Curated. Unexpectedly Elevated.

Occasion: Milestone birthday
Guest count: 50 adult and children
Season: Fall

This wasn't just a birthday party — it was a full Oktoberfest experience, built from the ground up for a host who wanted everyone she loves in the same room. And for once, she actually got to be with them.
Guests walked into life-size custom Bavarian buildings, greeted by florals, candlelight, and music already setting the tone before the first drink was poured. At the center of it all: a custom beer tent draped in blue fabric, strung with Oktoberfest flags, and crowned with a handcrafted hanging floral wreath. The kind of detail that stops people mid-sentence.
The pretzel bar, the live band, the custom matchboxes, menu linens, and take-home gifts — every element was intentional, every detail covered. The host didn't chase down pens for the guestbook or coordinate food drop-offs at the door. She got ready, walked in, and spent the whole evening exactly where she was supposed to be: at the table with her people.

Alice in ONEderland
Whimsical. Playful. Elegantly One.

Occasion: First birthday
Guest count: 20 adult and children
Season: Spring

A fun tea party with a playful nod to the birthday girl's name. What Alice's parents didn't expect was to be fully transported into Wonderland the moment they walked through the door.
Every custom touch — the signage, the labels, the stickers, the décor — was designed to pull guests out of an ordinary Sunday and into something that felt like it shouldn't exist in a living room. And at the center of it all: a food display that stopped people mid-conversation. Not tea sandwiches on a counter, but an intentional arrangement of height, texture, and layered displays that made every bite feel like part of the experience.
The parents had one real concern going in — how do you pull all of this together with a toddler underfoot and a one-year-old who runs the schedule? The answer: you don't have to. While Cassie handled setup, the birthday girl got her nap, and mom got a shower and got ready without a single item on her checklist to manage. They walked in as guests at their own daughter's party — and that's exactly the point.

The host knew the vibe she wanted — Ralph Lauren holiday, warm and elevated — but wasn't sure how to get from vision to reality. She asked for a themed tablescape and some easy apps for guests to mingle over. What she got was a dining room she barely recognized.
Guests walked in to a fully set table complete with individual name tags, table lamps, and fresh florals — details she hadn't even known to ask for, but immediately understood were exactly right. And then there was the grazing table. A champagne tower of berries, a tree of sugar grapes, a charcuterie tree — the kind of spread where the color, variety, and scale do the talking before a single guest picks up a plate. The wow factor was immediate.
What made the evening click wasn't any single detail — it was that every element worked together. The tablescape matched her playlist. It matched her outfit. It matched the feeling she'd been carrying around in her head for weeks but couldn't quite articulate. That's the part that's hard to plan for on your own. That's exactly what Cassie does.
